How to Give Feedback
Three ways, pick whatever’s easiest:
- Say it at the table. Reactions during play are the best data we get.
- Post in Discord. Drop thoughts in the feedback channels any time — they all get read and triaged into the design notes.
- The post-session survey. After each playtest session you’ll get a short survey (about five minutes) on what dragged, what confused, and what felt great.
What makes feedback useful
- Specific beats general. “Initiative felt slow with six players” helps more than “combat was meh.”
- Table stories are gold. What actually happened in play — the rule that got looked up three times, the turn that took five minutes — tells us more than opinions about rules in the abstract.
- You don’t need a fix. Naming the problem is the valuable part; proposing solutions is optional (though welcome).
